About Kang Ning

Kang Ning is a Singaporean contemporary composer who writes music with strong emotions, inspired by books and her travels. Her interest in composition began with a curiosity in unravelling the wonderful music she has heard and finding out what makes them distinct.

She was intrigued by how the combinations of instruments could create unique sound worlds and express a myriad of ideas. She sought to do the same, and create music that expressed herself best.
